OpenElec is described as.. OpenELEC is designed to make your system boot fast, and the install is so easy that anyone can turn a blank PC into a media machine in less than 15 minutes.
Also the LCD screen started outputting and appears to be working as expected. Please excuse the dust in the photo! There is another setting I was not sure if I should enable or not? The Problem Perhaps the problem is my lack of knowledge with Linux and setting up IR remote controls, but I always find it difficult and with many issues. Then some drivers like for imon were moved in to the actual Linux kernel and this could then conflict with LIRC setups.
Now yesterday I discover something new to me, called eventlircd and this is what OpenElec uses apparently, which sounds like a combination of LIRC and use of the in-kernel drivers.
I had this same issue in Ubuntu Minimal I am unsure what files I should be editing for eventlircd? So I think I will have to read more about eventlircd and try and get to the bottom of things. I have created two forum posts about my problems with the remote control, one here on the XBMC forum and one here on the OpenElec forums. I'm sure it's possible to delete the first character. Progress Bar: is already included in the simple demo configuration.
LCD smartie has a progress bar function which is used. The only issue is with the bar. I suspect it may be local saettings because comma is used fopr the current percentage: 52, this is the reason, why too many parameters ,.
I suspect it may be local saettings because comma is used fopr the current percentage: 52, this is the reason, why too many parameters , but even using dot is not working I don't get any devices listed in the dropdown menu I noticed that. The above shows up on my imon screen, so I assume I just need to figure out why it can't connect to the server and everything should fall into place.
Try again with new version of server plugin - suspect that was probably the issue Emby is going through a few changes and was hard to keep up. I noticed that it swaps back to the clock after about 30 seconds and doesn't come back until the progress bar updates to a different graphic. I assume changing out the progress bar for actual duration would fix this? I was wondering if Function 7 has the ability to report LiveTV?
I have Antec Fusion case I was searching forvit till now but no luck to find is. If not If you just need the driver's then I would go ask on the LCD smartie forums or use the web archive to look for an old download link. Thank you for your answer, but unfortunately on web archive there is no drivers for antec fusion.

Glenn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. GlennNZ 83 Posted July 22, Posted July 22, edited. Posted August 25, XBMC sends commands to it using port. If you can't connect to it, XBMC can't too. Could you also pastebin your 'ps auxwww' command? I can't see LCDd daemon running?
Did you kill it? LCDd isnt starting up at boot. It is older version then mine, but protocol is this same. You mess a little with telnet commands.
