Show runner and executive producer Hart Hanson has enjoyed teasing fans on the topic over the past few years at ComicCon and PaleyFest, but nothing definitive was ever promised.
Back in December , Hanson and writing partner Stephen Nathan confirmed that fans would meet her this season, though nothing further was officially released.
Now, TV Guide announced that the Blade Runner alum will be making her debut appearance during the season 8 finale, set to air on April 24th.
Speculation has run rampant over what role Booth's mother had, or didn't have, in his life - and for a while the only significant mentions of her came in the season 1 finale and again in season 5 during "A Night At the Bones Museum. He mentions that his father flew planes in Vietnam, while his mom wrote jingles. In "A Night at the Bones Museum" hurt feelings arise between the two when Brennan goes on a date with Booth's boss and shares her partner's personal stories outside of school.
